I appreciate that you realize the miraculous benefits of naturecure & yoga despite knowing that you have to live a torturous and prisoner like life here. But it is a wrong presumption that just by staying here for a few days you will get rid of all your health problems as revealed by the frequent visitors who manage to come quite often for a short stay without getting long term relief, thus putting a stigma on naturopathy. Please believe me, nature cure is neither a miracle nor a panacea nor a magic. It is a way of life. It is a pure and drugless science. The patients’ own sacrifice, efforts and faith in nature are paramount, whereas Doctors role is simply advisory. Therefore, your urge to learn here for maintaining and retaining the benefits for life long is more important than getting any relief. I repeat, you must learn how to maintain by changing your lifestyle, otherwise there is no use of coming here lest you get back the problems sooner than later. Please remove any wrong impression from your mind about the role of naturopathy. To derive long term benefit is not a child’s play. I do agree that no drug is free from harm and one drug necessitates another medicine. Thus by this vicious cycle toxins are generated and eventually toxemia may be born. Toxemia is a blood disease responsible for most of the serious ailments including cancer. But at the same time getting detoxification through natural therapies and then forgetting it is of no use. You have to change your lifestyle and follow the principles of nature. Nature is a hard task master, either obey her or suffer.
Nature cure is curative, preventive as well as educative and JNI offers all the three aspects. But unfortunately patients ignore education or learning - hence they continue suffering. For example, why not visiting Health Museum in the campus provided for learning. You can find solution for your specific problems there. Learning is the dire necessity and the most important of all the 3 aspects. By this if you follow 70% or even 60% of what you undergo here, you can escape from diseases. Let me tell you out of my 62 years of experience that many patients suffering from chronic, acute and serious diseases come to the shelter of nature after hopelessly trying all other branches of medicines. Though too late but still nature helps them.
Ladies & Gentlemen, Actually, we ourselves are responsible for the ailments by falling into the modern lifestyle; e.g. we consume very unhealthy foods and toxic drinks like alcohol, carbonated drinks, pan masala, tobacco etc. and do not follow what is prescribed by the nature. In fact, Nature does not impose any restriction on your eating. You may eat to your heart’s content, but consume the right type of food including lot of roughage and fiber such as vegetables, fruits, sprouts, whole grain, herbs and avoid junk food, oil, sweets, nuts and fried items; do exercises such as brisk walk, yoga, swimming, playing games vigorously for minimum 40 minutes. Besides drink 3 litres of fluids including water, juice, coconut water, buttermilk – all these on daily basis so that you have proper bowel movement and good sleep naturally. Friends, if you sincerely follow the principles of nature cure, I assure you, no disease will dare enter your body. It is well said, “Great things are not accomplished without sacrifice”. Friends, Remember, it is the quality that matters and not years of life we live in bed. Though Naturecure is slow - there is an old saying “Slow and steady wins the race.”
Lastly, I humbly advise the women staying here in a higher number than men to take care of their family members. It is their responsibility to give them the right food instead of feeding so called delicious items and more so overfeeding them. Ladies being soft and kind hearted are fond of tasty foods which they enjoy at home with all family members. While walking in groups they always talk about food saying MTR food etc.
