How much in advance should we book our accommodation
Since there is always a heavy pressure you need to book atleast 1-2 months in advance
in all accommodation, and wait for confirmation to come from our Reservation Department.
Please do not take your Reservation for granted unless you receive confirmation
from JNI Reservation.
Why you are not allowing postponement and preponement liberally?
Request for postponement or preponement are allowed for maximum of two times. Afterwards,
we refuse to admit such patients because too many preponement and postponement upsets
total planning resulting in hardship to other waiting patients Also as a disciplinary
measure, we do not want to take such patients who keep changing their schedule too
often, as these patients knowingly or unknowingly, give low importance to Naturopathy.
Why you are not allowing cars till the room on admission day?
Such traffic may disturbe patients who are walking along the roads as part of their
exercise or sleeping in their rooms. Hence, cars are not permitted. However, we
have made arrangement to take luggage upto room through golf carts.
Why do you not allow bringing the guest, even near and dear ones, who are willing
to learn Naturopathy?
Guests are always a pressure on our limited infrastructure which has been built
especially for patients. More over, some create indiscipline and do business misusing
the facilities provided for the patients only. Hence we do not encourage patients
bringing guests, except in essential case.
Why are you not allowing children below 18 years to come?
Naturopathy requires strong discipline and faith which normally is not expected
from youngsters. However, in cases where children suffering from diseases which
are treatable in Naturopathy, we do relax age upto 16 years, provided they come with
their parents, and their cases are cleared by our doctors.
Inspite of confirmed accommodation, sometimes we have to stay in Guest Room or an
accommodation other than the booked one – why?
At times patients extend their stay as per Doctor’s advice, as these patients feel
that staying for some more days will be much more beneficial for their healing.
As such, suddenly we cannot terminate them as it will be a great disappointment
for such patients. Therefore, we have to accommodate new patients for few days in
alternative accommodations. However, as soon as vacancy arises, they are accommodated
in the regular wings.
You have mentioned that this Institute is Charitable Hospital. Even then why charges
are so high?
Out of the total bed strength, about 20% of the accommodations are in General Wards
from whom we do not charge anything. It is provided absolutely free. Even for Single
Rooms, Double Rooms and Executive Rooms the charges are highly subsidised. We charge
little higher rates in Suite accommodations which reduces our overall deficit to
some extent. In fact our Founder spends every year huge amount of money on this
institute by giving donations from across the road i.e. JINDAL ALUMINIUM LIMITED.
Is Naturopathy a costly treatment and is it for rich people only?
No, Naturopathy, in fact, is one of the cheapest ways of treating which can be carried
out at home by any person with knowledge of Naturopathy. We, at the Institute, educate
patients so that after going back, they can try to take simple treatments themselves
at home and thereby, do not fall ill. For example, in our Institute, nearly 20%
of the people are treated free and others are highly subsidised rate. What we charge
is only for accommodation while diet and most of the treatments are totally free.
Naturopathy in real sense means “a nature’s way of living” and, if you do so, you
can avoid diseases without any cost.
Do you have any arrangement for booking air/train tickets for return journey?
The Institute has made arrangement for travel agent which is outside the main gate
and it has facility for booking air/train tickets. Requested to introduce HBSS (Human
Body Servicing Scheme) Although we would give preference to people with genuine
diseases so that we can assist them in curing their diseases, we have now introduced
a detoxification programme wherein we take patients who want to undergo this programme
for cleansing their system.
What is your Check- in and Check-out time?
Check in time is 11 am and Check-out time 9 am.
When we admit that Nature cure is a slow process, why admission more than 40 days
is not granted?
Since demands far exceed vacancy, we have to give chance to waiting patients. Moreover
in 40 days you can learn a lot and follow at home.
Why a person with more than 130kg cannot get admitted irrespective of height and
structure? Why limit at all?
This Institute is not a spa, nor a weight reduction centre but a hospital. We take
patients with genuine diseases and consider cases beyond that limit also, on clearance
from the doctor on medical ground. Not all NRI are rich. They should also be allowed
to take SR/DR on application, with out surcharge. This category (Economy Single/Double
rooms) was created particularly for Indian lower middle class, keeping in view,
their standard of living. As there is marked difference in standard of living in
developed countries, for NRI patients the minimum level should be an Executive Room
which is also heavily subsidized. Now it is made even more acceptable as we have
recently allowed 50% discount on their treatment charges as are allowed for patients
of economy rooms.
Why patients cannot come for less than 7 days?
Naturopathy is a sure but slow process. As such, even 7 days are not sufficient,
and one should take treatment as per doctors’ advice, and according to his/her disease
condition. Ideally it should not be less than 10 days treatment in any genuine disease,
except for detoxification programme.
